My original due date was January 1 2009. I came early at 32 weeks and 3 days. I spent 3 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit. My mum was told she was infertile when she was like 13 years old and, more recently, if she wanted children, she would need additional help, with that being a long shot; so said her gynecologist. Mum and Dad, having being married over nine years were totally fine that they weren't having children and didn't plan on any fertility measures. I think my parents are in shock and Daddy forgets that I'm around for a moment every now and then. He often calls Grandma and asks her, "Have you seen George?" So here I am, quite the surprise, and a wonderful one at that.
